IT Vikings — Securing Your Business
THE COMPANY

The security partner regional enterprises call first

Founded in Cairo in 2012 to close the gap between security that is bought and security that works. Vendor-independent by design, engineered by our own team, and attacked by our own offensive security team before anyone calls it done.

WHO WE ARE

A security engineering firm, not a box shifter

IT Vikings was founded in Cairo to solve a problem the region knew well: enterprises could buy security products easily enough, but getting them designed, integrated and actually operated was another matter. Licences were sold, boxes were racked, and the gap between what was purchased and what was protected stayed open.

We built the company to close that gap. We assess what you run, design what you need and deploy it with our own certified engineers. Then our offensive security team — a separate team, and still ours — attacks it before anyone signs it off. After handover, our SOC team can operate and monitor it on an 8x5 or 24x7 model for clients who contract it, and our engineers stay on for post-sales support.

And we hand over more than a system. We transfer the know-how with it, so your own team understands what was built, why it was built that way, and how to run it.

MISSION

What we are here to do

We are here to secure your business assets with sound methodology and exceptional support. We want to be your go-to security solutions and services provider.

VISION

Where we are going

We are extending our experience and knowledge to guarantee your business security. We believe in the transfer of the know-how — because after all, you are the one securing your business.

WHY IT VIKINGS

A partner, not a reseller

Most of what separates one security supplier from another only becomes visible after the contract is signed. These are the four differences that show up first.

  1. The whole lifecycle, one contract

Assessment, design, implementation, testing, certification readiness, monitoring and response under a single agreement — so no failure lands in the gap between two suppliers.

  2. No vendor quota to hit

We carry no revenue target for any manufacturer. That is what makes a shortlist worth reading, and what lets us recommend the smaller product when it is the better one.

  3. The people who build it are not the people who test it

Three teams, all ours. Network security designs and deploys the estate; offensive security attacks it afterwards and writes up what it found; the SOC team operates and monitors it for clients who contract it. Nobody marks their own homework.

  4. Regulator-ready by default

ISO 27001, PCI DSS and central-bank frameworks are the context we design in from day one, not a remediation project after the auditor arrives.

OUR VALUES

The four we are willing to lose work over

Values are only worth publishing where they cost something. Each of these has, at some point, meant a smaller proposal than the one we could have written.

  1. Independence before margin

We hold partnerships across the market precisely so that none of them decides an answer. The recommendation is whatever survives the assessment — including "keep what you have", which is not a recommendation a reseller is structured to make.

  2. Evidence over assertion

Findings are shown with the reasoning that produced them, and the salary bands for every open role are published up front. If a control is not working we say so in the report rather than in the renewal conversation.

  3. One accountable team

The engineer who designs it is the engineer who deploys it. No handoff to a delivery arm that was not in the room, and no second contract to make the first one work.

  4. Built where we operate

Our offices sit in the markets we serve, and our engineers work with the regulators those markets answer to. Local compliance context is not a slide in our deck — it is part of the job.

WHO WE DO THIS FOR

Regulated estates, where the downside is real

Banks, ministries, hospitals and energy operators — organisations that are audited, that cannot take an outage lightly, and that ask for evidence before they ask for a quote.

PROCUREMENT & TRUST

The answers your risk review needs

Enterprise and government buyers run third-party risk assessments before they run a pilot. These are the answers that hold up the front of that process, published rather than emailed on request.
