IT Vikings — Securing Your Business
OT / ICS

Protect the plant without stopping the line

Control networks were built for availability and safety, not for the IT threats now reaching them. We secure OT the way it has to be secured — passively first, with segmentation and monitoring designed around the process, never against it.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Delivered as one service

Take the whole stack or the single control you are missing. Either way it is assessed, designed, deployed and — if you want — operated by the same team.

01

Asset Discovery & Threat Detection

ICS VISIBILITY / IDS

You cannot defend a plant you have not inventoried. Passive traffic analysis builds the register of PLCs, RTUs, HMIs, drives and engineering workstations — and the same sensor then watches how they talk, so an unexpected logic download or setpoint change is an alert rather than a packet nobody reads.

Passive deep packet inspection (DPI) and multi-factor asset discovery ensuring zero operational disruption or controller crash risks
Vendor, model, firmware and protocol identified per device
Communication map showing which asset talks to which, and how
Protocol-aware anomaly detection across ICS traffic
Alerts on firmware upload, logic change and setpoint drift
Tuned with your process engineers so normal operations stay quiet
02

OT Network Segmentation

PURDUE / IEC 62443

Zones and conduits designed to the Purdue model, so an infection on the business network has nowhere to go and the cell it starts in is the cell it stays in.

Level 3.5 DMZ between enterprise IT and the process network
Zone and conduit design aligned to IEC 62443
Industrial firewalls with protocol-aware policy (Modbus, DNP3, S7)
Cut-over planned around scheduled outages, not imposed on them

TYPICAL DEPLOYMENT

What this looks like as a project

YOU PROVIDE

Process network diagrams, asset lists where they exist, a plant/process engineering contact and the next scheduled outage window.

YOU RECEIVE

Passive asset inventory, a device communication map, deployed ICS detection, and a zone and conduit design cut over into the plant.

BEFORE YOU ASK

The questions we get every time

Will this interrupt production?
No. Discovery and monitoring are passive — we listen on a span or tap and touch nothing. Only the segmentation cut-over needs downtime, and it is planned into an outage window you choose.
Our controllers cannot be patched. Is that a blocker?
It is the normal starting point. Where a device cannot be patched we protect it with segmentation, protocol-aware policy and monitoring, and the residual risk is written down rather than pretended away.
Do you work with our OEM and integrators?
Yes, and it usually improves the result. Their support paths show up in the discovery map, so the zone and conduit design is drawn around the access they genuinely need — rather than cutting it off and finding out at the next callout.

Not sure which controls you actually need?

Start with a consultation. We map your OT and industrial control posture against real threat models and hand back a prioritised roadmap — no obligation.
