IT Vikings — Securing Your Business
IDENTITY

Identity is the perimeter you actually defend

Strong authentication, governed access, controlled privilege and directory-layer detection — the four controls that decide whether a stolen password becomes an incident or a non-event.

Privilege as the default

One identity, every app
WHAT'S INCLUDED

Delivered as one service

Take the whole stack or the single control you are missing. Either way it is assessed, designed, deployed and — if you want — operated by the same team.

01

Multifactor Authentication

MFA

Phishing-resistant second factors across VPN, mail, cloud and internal applications, rolled out in waves so the service desk survives the change

FIDO2/WebAuthn hardware tokens, Passkeys, and PKI/smartcard authentication to prevent adversary-in-the-middle (AiTM) MFA fatigue attacks
Coverage for legacy and on-premise applications
Risk-based and conditional access policies
Staged rollout with user communications and support
02

Identity & Access Management

IAM

One authoritative identity per person, provisioned on their first day and removed on their last, with access that can be evidenced to an auditor.

Single sign-on across cloud and on-premise apps
HR-driven automated Joiner, Mover, and Leaver (JML) provisioning with role-based access control (RBAC) and attribute-based access control (ABAC).
Role-based access with periodic recertification
Directory consolidation and federation
Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) with automated access certification and segregation of duties (SoD) risk analysis
03

Privileged Access Management

PAM

Admin credentials in a vault, sessions recorded, standing privilege removed — the single highest-value control after MFA.

Zero-standing-privilege (ZSP) vaulting with automatic SSH key/password rotation and hardcoded application credential discovery
Session recording and keystroke audit
Just-in-time elevation instead of standing admin rights
Third-party and vendor access control
04

Identity Detection & Response

IDR

Detect credential abuse, Kerberos attacks and privilege escalation at the directory layer, where most intrusions become breaches.

Active Directory attack-path visibility
Real-time detection of credential theft techniques
Automated containment of compromised accounts
Continuous hardening recommendations

TYPICAL DEPLOYMENT

What this looks like as a project

YOU PROVIDE

Directory detail, application inventory, privileged-account list and joiner/leaver process owner.

YOU RECEIVE

Phishing-resistant MFA rollout, conditional access policy, PAM for tier-0 and an access-review cadence.

BEFORE YOU ASK

The questions we get every time

Is SMS-based MFA good enough?
No. It is better than nothing and worse than everything else. We move you to phishing-resistant factors in a staged way users tolerate.
Can we do this without disrupting staff?
Rollout is by cohort, with a fallback path and a support script. Identity projects fail on communication, not technology.
What about privileged accounts?
Tier-0 accounts get vaulting, session recording and just-in-time elevation — that is where the blast radius lives.

Not sure which controls you actually need?

Start with a consultation. We map your identity and access management posture against real threat models and hand back a prioritised roadmap — no obligation.
